Dr. Legere is proud to call Timberlea home. Growing up he went through the BLT school system, followed by his time as a student athlete at Sir John A Macdonald High School. A current resident in the community with his wife Jennifer, he is honored to have the opportunity to have a dental practice in his own backyard. Ryan is a graduate of Dalhousie University where he obtained his Doctor in Dental Surgery in 2009. Treating patients as if they are family, his personality and pain free approach allows patients to feel at ease, free of anxiety and have an enjoyable experience during every visit. Ryan is a big sports fan, and on his days off he can often be found on the golf course.
Dr. McDade was born in Ottawa and moved to Nova Scotia at age 7. He attended Dalhousie University where he received his Bachelor of Science with Honours, and his Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering. He then graduated with a DDS degree from Dalhousie Dentistry in 2016. Dr. McDade's focus is to provide comprehensive dental care in a professional manner. Jonathan enjoys treating patients of all ages. His areas of particular interest include implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative treatment. Jonathan regularly attends continuing education lectures and workshops to update his knowledge in the field of dentistry. Outside of the practice, Jonathan is an avid cyclist and runner.
Dr. Eckstein was born in Fredericton, NB. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Acadia University in 2013 and completed his DDS Degree at Dalhousie University in 2018. Dr. Eckstein completed the GPR Program in 2019, receiving advanced training in general dentistry, focusing on the treatment of medically compromised patients, sedation, oral surgery and prosthodontics. Sean believes in treating patients as if they are family and is a strong believer in the delivery of ethical comprehensive care and patient education. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys golf, softball, canoeing, spending time with friends, family and his partner; Kayla.
Dr. Mason was born and raised in New Glasgow. A lifelong runner, Allister completed his B.Sc at Dalhousie, during which time he ran on the varsity track & field team. He went on to complete an M.Sc in Medical Physics before transitioning to dentistry and graduating from Dalhousie Dental School. Allister then went out west to complete a one-year general practice residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. A strong believer in patient centered care, Allister is thrilled to be returning to his home province to practice and bring with him all the lessons he learned in BC! Outside of dentistry, Allister can be found trying to keep up with Dr. McDade while running in Point Pleasant Park or out on his red canoe with his girlfriend, Clara.
Dr. Steeves ("Tom") is original from Juniper, NB. He completed a Bachelor in Science in 2013 at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. He then moved to Halifax, NS, where he completed his DDS Degree in 2017 at Dalhousie University. Following the completion of his DDS Degree he then completed a General Practice Residency in 2018 at Dalhousie where he gained advanced training in general dentistry with an emphasis on surgery, hospital dentistry, medically compromised patients and public health. Dr. Steeves is currently a full time faculty member at Dalhousie University, education the next generation of Dentists. When Dr. Steeves is not wearing his dentist cap he enjoys time with his family and friends. He is secretly a rockstar and has been playing lead guitar for bands for over a decade.
